Building Gliders and Robots with Kids at the ළMore Children's Day Celebration

Our stall at the ළMore Children's Day celebration became the busiest corner of the event. Children built their own gliders from scratch, drove the Obo Car using a phone, and met Obo Dog, our robot dog, which stole the show. It was a joyful reminder of what we believe at RoboticGen Academy: technology is best learned with your hands.

Leading an IoT Workshop at MoraForesight 4.0, University of Moratuwa

RoboticGen conducted a hands-on IoT workshop at MoraForesight 4.0, organized by the University of Moratuwa. Participants explored how the Internet of Things connects devices, data and technology to solve real problems and build smarter solutions. We were proud to return to MoraForesight, having supported earlier editions of the programme.

Opening the Doors to the New RoboticGen Makerspace in Dehiwala

We officially opened RoboticGen Dehiwala, our new innovation hub and makerspace, on 26 April 2026. After years of building from the ground up, RoboticGen now has a home of its own: one space for robotics and AI, hardware, IoT and product development, and for the hands-on classes of RoboticGen Academy. It is where the next generation of engineers, innovators and problem-solvers will be built.

RoboticGen Labs Open-Sources Its Competition-Winning MicroMouse

We have open-sourced our MicroMouse project. What started as a competition-winning robot is now an open platform for builders and problem-solvers to explore and push the boundaries of maze-solving algorithms. The full project is on GitHub for anyone to study, experiment with and build on.
